Liavaag is an artist, working in the world of theater and film.

INGRID LIAVAAG is a Norwegian artist whose practice includes both acting and directing, within the field of theatre, film and performance. Liavaag specializes in adapting theatrical methodologies to develop audiovisual works, operating at the intersection of fiction and documentary. She has a Masters Degree in theatre and film at Oslo National Academy of the Arts and is a trained actor from Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris, where she also studied scenography, movement and art at Laboratory of Movement Study.

Liavaag has made a number of shorts that has been shown at festivals around the world. She is currently working on her first feature film and is a Co-founder of the film collective Peggy Høy and the interdisciplinary company LiLiRe .
